About
I feel honored to join you in the therapeutic process of self-discovery, healing, and acceptance of your limitless worth. I approach the therapeutic relationship as a deep listener. It is a privilege for me to learn from your lived experience and to offer presence and age-old skills to support your unique healing process. My work is designed to support you in tuning into your body and mind to access peace from within. I bring empathy, curiosity, warmth, and a bit of humor to our work, so that you can find a safe space to authentically explore the thoughts and learning from your past that may not serve you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 12 years of practice working with adult individuals, children, and families. I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan. Over my career, I have worked with people in all stages of life and have supported them in a wide range of settings, including intensive treatment for adults, in-home/community-based treatment for children and families in East Los Angeles, post-natal care, parent coaching, and outpatient treatment.
If you have questions, or would like to get a better sense of whether my approach fits your needs, please contact me for a 15 minute consultation, where I can speak to your personal goals and needs from the therapeutic process.

Strategies
Cognitive Behavioral | Insight-Oriented | Mindful Self-Compassion | Psychodynamic | Trauma-Informed Treatment

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
A form of psychotherapy where one explores the relationship between thoughts, behaviors and mood. As a result of this exploration and challenging undermining thoughts and behaviors, we strive to create change in undermining perceptions, distorted beliefs and improving emotional regulation.
Mindful Self-Compassion
Mindful Self-Compassion is the ability to bring awareness to our human experience moment-to-moment and offer ourselves kindness because of our suffering. Accessing gentle meditation, grounding exercises, nurturing gestures, and a curious, compassionate inner-dialogue are a few pathways within this approach to find deeper healing and self-acceptance.
Trauma-Informed Treatment
If you are seeking therapy to heal traumatic wounds, we will work together to identify the best approach to fit your background and needs. Trauma-informed treatment can include psychoeducation on the impact of trauma to the body and mind, narrative therapy, somatic tools, or a psychodynamic approach. I am specifically trained and educated in Risking Connections® and the Trauma Resiliency Model®, which offer skills and tools to tune into the inner wisdom of your body in order to find healing and innate resiliency.
